Tension – South Hackensack Operations are Exempt from NJ’s Stay at Home Order

Tension will Continue Operations

Updated March 22, 2020

On March 21, 2020, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy ordered all New Jersey residents to stay home with exceptions for reporting to or performing their job. Gov. Murphy’s March 21 executive order also limits the scope of service and hours of operation for restaurants and certain retail establishments. The order exempts essential businesses and manufacturing and, therefore, Tension – South Hackensack will continue to operate.

As noted on the USPS website here, the USPS is considered an essential service as well. They also have shared that the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the World Health Organization and the Surgeon General have indicated that there is currently no evidence that COVID-19 is being spread through the mail
