Registration is now open for two USPS® promotions; the Tactile, Sensory, and Interactive (TSI) Promotion and the Personalized Color Transpromo (PCT) Promotion. Both promotions opened for registration on December 15 and encourage mailers to send mailpieces that are more likely to get the attention of the recipient by incorporating unique physical or visual features.
Tactile, Sensory, and Interactive Promotion
The Tactile, Sensory, and Interactive promotion promotes the use of special, attention-grabbing features on eligible mailpieces. Mailers looking to participate in the TSI promotion must use either a unique textured finish, a sensory element (such as sound, smell or taste), or an interactive feature (like a zip-strip or pop-up). Tension’s Trailing Edge envelopes have qualified for this promotion in the past, but all approvals must come from the USPS.
Promotion Registration: December 15, 2023 – July 31, 2024
Promotion Dates: February 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024
Discount: Mailers can qualify for a 5% discount on postage for eligible USPS Marketing Mail® letters and flats; First-Class Mail® letters, cards, and flats; and Nonprofit USPS Marketing Mail® letters and flats.
Important Note: The USPS announced that after the 2024 iteration of this promotion, Gloss Stock will no longer be eligible.
Personalized Color Transpromo Promotion
The PCT promotion promotes the use of vibrant color, dynamic variable print, and personalization on eligible mailpieces.
Promotion Registration: December 15, 2023 – July 31, 2024
Promotion Dates: February 1, 2024 – July 31, 2024
Discount: This year, the PCT promotion offers two tiers of discounts to mailers of approved mailpieces:
- a 3% discount for personalized, full-color marketing and consumer messages, or
- a 4% discount if a reply mechanism is included (such as our custom #9 envelopes).
