If you’re a billing, statement or fundraising mailer who includes reply mail in your envelopes, the next USPS® promotion of 2020 is a good one for you.

Promotion Dates: April 1, 2020–June 30, 2020

Available Credits: $0.02 or $0.04 credit (depending on certain program requirements) for each BRM, CRM, and/or Share Mail piece returned.

Review and Acceptance Period for Credits: July 1, 2020 – September 15, 2020

Expiration Date for Credits: December 31, 2020

Promotion Details

To qualify, mailers must register their Mailer ID (MID), mail permit(s) and use eligible Intelligent Mail® barcodes (IMb) on the BRM, CRM and/or Share Mail piece during the promotional period.  Each piece placed back in the mailstream and scanned during the promotion timeframe can earn credits.

This promotion is offered to both new and previous promotion participants.

New Participants: Mailers can earn a $0.02 credit for each BRM, CRM and/or Share Mail piece counted, based on your enrolled MID.

Participants from 2019 Earned Value Promotion: Mailers can earn a $0.02 credit for each BRM, CRM and/or Share Mail piece that meets or exceeds a 93% threshold counted from the same customer registration ID (CRID, or a unique code used by the USPS to identify a MID at a specific address) April 1, 2020 – June 30, 2020. Mailers exceeding a 100% threshold can earn a $0.04 credit per BRM, CRM and/or Share Mail piece counted from the same CRID April 1, 2020 – June 30, 2020.

Remember, earned credits will be applied to the enrolled permits in the Business Customer Gateway and must be used by December 31, 2020*. The USPS also strongly encourages program participants to check the activity report in the program registration tool each week.
